All interior walls are finished with non-toxic plaster. All interior wood trim, doors and floors finished with German made OS #2 non-toxic natural oil sealant. The wool carpeting in the stairwells and two of the bedrooms is 100% wool and completely glue and chemical-free. The padding beneath the carpeting is 100% compressed cotton batting and chemical free. All three decks have been made from Trex decking, a combination of recycled plastic and wood. The home is south-facing allowing for passive solar gain, and well-ventilated. Only non-toxic cleaning products have EVER been used to maintain the home.
